COMPUTER ASSISTANCE:
I offer assistance in the use of, provide advice for, and troubleshoot problems with computers in a wide range of circumstances including driver files, developing simple web pages, and tutoring in the use of various applications (Both PC and Mac).
WEB PAGE DEVELOPMENT
I am very good at organizing information for a web site and providing the HTML for the site to function logically and efficiently.
LANDSCAPING/YARD MAINTENANCE
I work with a lawn care service mowing lawns, raking leaves, general yard work, shoveling heavy winter snow off roofs, and so forth.
TRAVEL ADVISOR
I have extensive knowledge of travel and getting around, including rail travel, maps, and listings of approximate driving times between rest stops and major interchanges on many major northeastern highways. I can assist with finding destinations, suggesting different routes to get there while avoiding problem traffic or construction areas, I have direct knowledge of many transit alternatives and fares, and suggesting interesting things to see or do along the way. SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT
With knowledge of the Macintosh Toolbox and the C programming language, I can make applications for Macintosh systems from System 7.0 up through OS 9.x. These skills could be transferred to Mac OS X if necessary.

SURVEYING
With my GPS receiver and my map drawing program, I can make rough survey maps accurate to within 20 feet very inexpensively. This works best for land areas of an acre or more.
MAPLE SYRUP
I know how to make Maple Syrup and know some families who have done this and probably still do.
HONEY
With a friend who has experience in bee keeping, I own a bee hive and can produce honey.
