** RIDDLES FROM THE BIBLE **

In Judges 14 Samson proposes a riddle to the Philistines betting 30 linen wraps and 30 changes of clothes that they won't know the meaning. Samson's riddle is found in verse14.

Out of the eater came something to eat,
And out of the strong came something sweet.

Answer: The eater is a lion. Something sweet is honey. See verses 8 and 18

A time to laugh, a time to weep,
A time to throw out, a time to keep,

A time to die, a time to be born,
A time to dance, a time to mourn,

Not a proverb, not a song,
from which book do they belong?
