** RIDDLES FROM THE BIBLE **
In Judges 14 Samson proposes a riddle to the Philistines betting 30 linen wraps and 30 changes of clothes that they won't know the meaning. Samson's riddle is found in verse14.
Out of the eater came something to eat,
And out of the strong came something sweet.
Answer: The eater is a lion. Something sweet is honey. See verses 8 and 18
Riddle for January 2013:
A stitch in time, saves nine.
Maybe not so, if it be wine.
Riddle for February 2013:
Five and two, just will not do;
But say a prayer, and more will be there.
